Frequently Asked Questions

  • EBEC Benelux is the second round of European BEST Engineering Competition, which is organised by BEST around Europe. It is where the winners of EBEC Local rounds from the Benelux region compete for a higher goal.

  • The abbreviation stands for The European BEST Engineering Competition inside the Benelux region which incldues LBGs of Belgium, Netherlands and also surprisingly LBG Aachen as well.

  • Due the lockdowns and unease caused by Coronavirus, we have an online verison of EBEC Benelux this year. Hence, the venue is your home or any place that suits you, is comfortable and has an internet connection.

  • Since we have an online version of EBEC Benelux this year, to make it fair, every participant must work independently and still work as a team by being in contact only via an online platform.

  • It will be held on three days, 8th, 9th and 10th of May, 2020.

  • No, you don’t have to be a BEST member to participate in any of the EBEC rounds. However in order to participate, you have to attend and win the engineering competition held at your university.
